About Us
Melrose PTO Inc. is the umbrella organization of Melrose Public Schools’ Parent Teacher Organizations (PTOs). It was formed to solidify each PTO’s tax exempt status, share the burden of certain common expenses (e.g. insurance)

The Melrose PTO Inc. calendar includes important dates for all Melrose Public Schools. For events specific to a school, please refer to that school’s calendar. The Melrose Public School calendar is set by the superintendent in the beginning of the calendar year.

Get Involved
Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart. Walk around downtown Melrose. Chances are you’ll meet more volunteers than not. Our great city is full of them and there is no better way to impact the life of a child, and to model behavior to the children in our community, than to give a bit of your time. We’d be happy to have you.
Melrose PTO Inc. has a staff of five; a president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and book-keeper.
