With your support we can provide exceptional field trips, enrichment programs, and supplemental classroom supplies.
About the Fun Run
The Fun Run happens throughout the day of Friday, Oct 17. Each class will go to the track and children will try to run as many laps as possible. Parent-volunteers will help keep track of how many laps each students run. A DJ keeps the energy up, along with parents who cheer on the runners.
The kids who run the most laps will win a prize! And the entire school will celebrate when we hit our fundraising milestones!
Fundraising Milestones
- $10,000 – Visit from Hershey
- $20,000 – PJ day + ice pops
- $30,000 – Treats at drop off
- $45,000 – Surprise TBA!
Raising Money
Each student can set up an online fundraising page, and/or collect cash and checks. Simply ask family and friends if they are willing to sponsor your student runner. Donations are not linked to how many laps your student runs.
Last year, the Hoover Fun Run raised over $38,000. Thanks to the generous support, the PTO funded field trips, Spirit Day, Teacher Appreciation Week, supplemental classroom supplies, and grade specific enrichment programs.Set up your personal fundraising page

When you finish, the system will email pledge requests to your family and friends, and allows them to make secure credit card donations online. You get notified each time a pledge is made, which allows you to track your pledge progress online and send thank you notes to your generous contributors.
