Friends of Melrose Metco (FOMM)
At Friends of Melrose METCO (Melrose Racial Justice Community Coalition) our mission is to support METCO families with valuable resources and advocacy. We also aim to engage and involve the Melrose community, offering residents opportunities to learn, volunteer, and show their support and solidarity with Boston families. We strive for a welcoming, inclusive, and equitable environment for everyone.
Friends of Melrose METCO (FOMM) was founded in 2019 to support METCO students and families in the Melrose public schools. In 2024, the group merged with the Melrose Racial Justice Community Coalition (RJCC).
