Budget
The PTO Treasurers worked hard to prepare a budget for the upcoming school year. It includes funding to continue well-loved Rosie traditions like the school musical and the upcoming Harvest Festival, the ability to implement new school/community initiatives, providing our amazing teachers and staff stipends for classroom supply purchase reimbursements, and a Rosie PTO parent/caregiver night out. The Budget was approved at the first PTO Meeting of the school year. If you have any questions or concerns about the budget, please email PTORosieTreasurer@gmail.com.
Here is what the PTO has already paid for this year:
- Woo-Hoo/Boo-Hoo table with refreshments to welcome families and start off the new school year.
- Welcome Back to School Luncheon for staff (e.g., sandwiches, drinks, desserts, and other snacks).
- One time donation of books to the third grade reciprocal learning program (i.e. book club).
- Renewed the Newsela subscription, a news reading program that’s built for students to work on literacy skills and is a teacher favorite at Rosie

On the income side:
- Over the summer we continued to receive monthly income from Bay State Textiles (recycling bins outside the school) – a great way to donate/recycle old clothing AND raise money for the school.
